What We Offer

Established in 2006, the Department of Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics at Lourdes Hospital  provides evidence-based nutritional care for patients of all ages & conditions. Our expert team  works closely with healthcare providers to offer personalized nutrition support, promoting  recovery, health & overall well-being.

We offer a range of services that include:

A first step in identifying patients at risk of malnutrition or special dietary needs, our team  screens all inpatients & outpatients to detect issues early and ensure timely intervention.

2. Nutrition Assessment

A thorough evaluation of dietary history, body measurements, lab results & clinical data to  assess nutritional status and create a personalized diet plan.

3. Diet Planning

Based on the assessment, we create personalized meal plans that align with the patient’s  medical needs, preferences & treatment goals – covering both preventive and therapeutic diets.

4. Therapeutic Dietary Modification

Specialized diets are designed to support the treatment of various medical conditions such as  diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, renal disorders, gastrointestinal problems & more. We also  provide dietary support for patients undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, or intensive care.
