The Department of Rheumatology provides comprehensive, state of the art care to all Arthritis and autoimmune diseases. Our qualified adult and paediatric Rheumatologists undertake both routine and specialised laboratory investigations required to diagnose and treat all common and unusual rheumatic conditions. The department offers a wide range of services to patients with Rheumatic diseases (Arthritis, Vacuities, Musculoskeletal, Autoimmune, and Inflammatory Diseases) which involve the joints and connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons and muscles. Many specialized laboratory tests, X-rays, Cytopathology and chemical pathology of fluid, medication, physiotherapy and occupational therapy are done here. The department provides excellent ancillary support with full-fledged physiotherapy and occupational therapy departments to care for arthritis patients. Our orthopaedic team helps the patients with arthroscopies and joint replacements as and when required.
