The Department of Oncology has a team of best oncologist in Kerala and offers comprehensive care for management for all types of Cancers, in both adults and children. Our team of internationally and nationally trained Medical, Surgical and Radiation Oncologists provide patients with optimal, evidence-based and customised treatment plans for removal of Cancer cells from the body through medication, surgery and radiation with a multi-disciplinary approach and the help of state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technology. Patients are also provided psychological counselling, dietary advice and rehabilitation services if required and open discussions on all treatment options available. Equipped with highly advanced technical support for Chemotherapy, the department is actively involved in the staging, work-up and comprehensive management of cancer cases and the multidisciplinary board meetings for breast-oncology, Uro-Oncology, Gynaec Oncology, Onco-Pathology are done thrice a week.
The department focuses on inpatient and intensive care of critically ill Cancer patients, administration of dose intense Chemotherapy, guidance for Radiotherapy, pain management and counselling for palliative Oncology care, early Cancer detection for Oral, Genitourinary, Breast and other malignancies etc.
